नयी दिल्ली: भारत निर्वाचन आयोग ने कर्नाटक राज्य में विधानसभा के लिए उपचुनाव-2019 के संदर्भ में एग्जिट पोल पर प्रतिबंध को लेकर 26.11.2019 को अधिसूचना संख्या 576/एग्जिट/2019/एसडीआर/वोल्यूम जारी की थी। सभी संबंधित के लिए अधिसूचना संलग्न है।

NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the schedule for the Bye-Elections to the Legislative Assembly in the State of Karnataka, have been notified by the Commission vide Notifications no. 100IKT-LAl2019,dated 21st September and 27th September, 2019.
2. And whereas, as per the provisions of Section 126A of the R.P. Act, 1951, there shall be restrictions on conduct of any exit poll and publication and dissemination of result of such exit poll during such period as may be notified by the Election Commission in this regard;
3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers under sub-Section (1) of Section 126A of the R.P. Act, 1951, the Election Commission, having regard to the provisions of Sub-Section (2)(b) of the said Section, hereby notifies the period between 7.00 A.M. and 6.30 P.M. on 05.12.2019 (Thursday), as the period during which conducting any exit poll and publishing or publicizing by means of the print or electronic media or dissemination in any other manner whatsoever, the result of any exit poll in connection with the said bye-elections from 03-Athani, 04-Kagwad, 09-Gokak, 81-Yellapur, 86-Hirekerur, 87-Ranibennur, 90-Vijayanagara, 141- Chikkaballapur, 151-K.R.Pura, 153-Yeshvanthapura, 156-Mahalakshmi Layout, 162- Shivajinagar, 178-Hosakote, 192-Krishnarajpet & 212-Hunsur Assembly Constituencies in the State of Karnataka, poll for which is schedule to be taken on 05.12.2019 shall be prohibited.
4. It is further clarified that under Section 126(1)(b) of the R.P. Act, 1951, displaying any election matter including results of any opinion poll or any other poll survey, in any electronic media, would be prohibited during the period of 48 hours ending with the hour fixed for conclusion of poll for the aforesaid bye-elections.
